With its over-the-top energy and anything-goes attitude, I found out from my many trips that Las Vegas is also home to some of the world’s most unforgettable hotels. From fun vintage kitsch to jaw-dropping modern design, here are my favorite unique and incredible places to stay in Sin City…

The LINQ Hotel Guest Room

I’ve included this hotel as its one of the Strip’s most social and affordable hotels, with smart tech-savvy rooms, direct access to the lively LINQ Promenade, and the iconic High Roller observation wheel just steps away!

The vibe was unapologetically youthful – with bold colors, sleek lines, and cheeky artwork giving the whole place a cool, urban edge. It buzzed with energy and drew a lively crowd of younger party-loving travelers like a magnet.

Sleek and spacious, my suite came with a modern platform bed, smart TV, charging ports, a tidy workspace, and a glassy walk-in shower – but what really won me over were the unexpected glow-in-the-dark accents that added a playful twist at night.

I had a blast lounging by the lively pool with its resident DJ and fun cabana scene, made use of the 24-hour fitness center, and loved how I could stroll straight out to the LINQ Promenade for food, drinks, and a ride on the High Roller – all just steps from my room.!

My favorite highlights…

  • Trying a refreshing Big Dog’s Las Vegas Lager from the awesome automated self-serve beer wall!

This was one of the few major Vegas resorts with no resort fees, and I loved how it stood out with that signature bold Virgin style, superb dining and lively, off-Strip vibe with Hilton perks!

From the moment I walked in, the decor hit with a punch—sleek modern lines, funky red accents, witty wall art, and Mad Men–style furnishings created a vibe that was fun, fearless, and totally on-brand for Virgin’s signature swagger.

My room had a smart and chic design with a dressing area, a cozy custom Virgin bed, a walk-in rainfall shower, and intuitive tech I could control from my phone. I especially loved the bold red SMEG mini-fridge – fully stocked and refreshingly fair-priced!

I kicked things off with a dip in their enormous party-ready pool complex, lounged on daybeds, hit the on-site music venue for live sets, and indulged in spa treatments and eats ranging from gourmet to grab-and-go. With a sports bar, full casino, and even a hairdresser, it had everything – tucked just off the Strip on Paradise Road which was more local, less neon!

My highlights…

  • I loved the breezy, boho vibe at Kassi Beach House – the silky whipped eggplant mezze and the frozen, fruity Suptropic Slushies were both stand outs for me!

Staying here felt like slipping into a sultry gothic fantasy – crimson velvet chairs, flickering candlelight, and gleaming gold statues gave this adults-only hideaway a darkly romantic, utterly unforgettable vibe.

With Cézannes, Chagalls, and Van Goghs spilling across the walls and ceilings, it felt like staying inside a mischievous art gallery. Out by the European-style pool, cabanas lined the edges and no one batted an eye if you went topless. It was bold, luxe, and buzzing with a party-ready spirit.

My room had a sleek, modern vibe with bold art, moody lighting, a luxe rainfall shower, and a sprawling king bed I practically melted into. One of the staff let me in on a secret—some of the top-floor rooms are smoke-friendly, thanks to high-tech air filtration systems!

I chilled by the super Instagrammable pool, danced at their live music nights, sipped cocktails in the moody lounge, and tucked into inclusive dining with loads of tasty vegan and gluten-free options – all in a laid-back spot just off the Strip on West Sahara Avenue, a low-key but lively street where Vegas locals actually hung out!
