Singapore STEM and Sustainability: Learning in a Living Laboratory

Where Classroom Learning Meets Real-World Solutions

The programme brings STEM out of the textbook and into everyday life. Students explore aquaculture farms, where technology supports marine conservation and food security in land-scarce Singapore. At Kok Fah Technology Farm, they see hydroponics and modern machinery in action, linking food science with environmental sustainability. A visit to the Sustainable Singapore Gallery at Marina Barrage reveals how urban planning, renewable energy, and water management are shaping the future of one of Asia’s most dynamic cities.

Hands-on activities such as robotics, coding, and 3D printing workshops allow participants to test their creativity and problem-solving skills. Guided by local experts, they discover how innovation can be applied to pressing global challenges.
